The Wedding Ceremony... For the Wedding Ceremony, we have many ideas to share with you... from Piano/Keyboard, Jazz or Classical Guitar, Harp, to various instrumental combinations... Piano & Flute; Guitar & Flute; Harp w/ Flute and/or Violin; String Quartet; Woodwind or Brass Ensemble. Our classical ensembles are the finest in New York. We can suggest music for your ceremony or play your requests... from "Stairway to Heaven" to Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Pachelbel. Whether you want a traditional ceremony or something a little different, we're here to work with you. For Cocktails... Again, the choices are many...Solo Piano or Jazz Guitar, Jazz Duo or Trio, String Quartet, Harp. Some couples want a different sound and are requesting our Island Steel Band/Combo. The Party... At the reception, most Brides & Grooms want a mix of music that will bring their guests onto the dance floor... from friends and co-workers to all family members. The music is always "continuous," with the band members alternating during dinner to provide lovely background music at a volume that will not interfere with dinner conversation. As for dance music, we play it all... Jazz/ Big Band/ Swing, Contemporary & Classic Rock, Dance & Disco, Motown/ R & B/ Pop Standards, Reggae/ Latin/ All Ballroom Styles... PLUS... . Ethnic Music... If you want music that will reflect your family traditions, our knowledge is extensive. We sing in seven languages and can authentically perform Hebrew, Yiddish, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Irish, German, Viennese, Greek, Korean and Chinese music. Our Klezmer music is outstanding! Your First Dance... We will be there to work with you to make your "First Dance" the perfect frozen-in-time memory that you want it to be. To help those couples who have yet to find a song that fits the moment, we have prepared a list of "101 First Dance Favorites" to make the experience easier and more enjoyable. If you choose a song that is not already in our repertoire, we will be happy to learn it and do an "off-the-record" arrangement "just for you". Parents Dance... We are often asked to suggest songs that are appropriate for the Bride and Groom to dance with their parents. We will be happy to make suggestions for that special dance.
